On the last evening the boys enjoyed showing Japanese things to the people in court. Popular items were the Japanese cup and ball toy, origami, rice crackers and writing names in Japanese.

Good bye, Marlborough 2013!

The boys are now boarding their plane for Japan. It has been a wonderful two weeks. Many thanks for everyone who made it possible; the boys, their parents, the home stay families and the Tokai teachers as well as all the staff at the Marlborough College Summer School.

Congratulations

 The boys were happy to receive certificates at the end of the course. The teachers were all very happy with their attitude and behaviour and they can be verb proud of themselves.

A Special Present from The O'Reilly Family to Takaya

Takaya received a very special present from his host father, Ed. It is a hand-carved miso spoon to commemorate his visit to Marlborough. This is an example of the warm welcome our boys have received in Marlborough.
